The Environmental Health Disparities & Resilience (RESILIENCE) Research Interest Group focuses on how environmental health disparities can impact health outcomes throughout the lifespan as well as the role of resilience in achieving environmental health equity. The RESILIENCE membership spans a broad range of disciplines that cover both basic and applied sciences across the lifespan. RESILIENCE develops cross-disciplinary collaborations focused on understanding risk factors and identifying protective factors that can promote resilience, especially among urban African-American populations who face significant environmental health disparities.
